About Savvy
Savvy is a founding partner at Darragh & Bocker, LLC. She is licensed to practice law in the
State of New Jersey, the District of New Jersey Federal Courts, and Third Circuit Court of
Appeals.
Savvy is a proud product of New Jersey Public Schools from kindergarten through law school,
having attended Sussex County Community College and Montclair State University. She
attended Rutgers Law School (Newark) as a part-time evening student while working full time as
a family law litigation paralegal (for Scott J. Bocker, Esq.). Savvy graduated from Rutgers Law in
2015.
After graduating from law school, Savvy was a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Terry Paul
Bottinelli, J.S.C., in Bergen County, for the 2015-2016 judicial term. During her time as Judge
Bottinelli’s law clerk, she researched various family law issues and assisted His Honor in writing
an opinion on palimony and New Jersey’s Constitution.
Prior to starting her firm with Scott J. Bocker, Esq., Savvy practiced family law at well-respected
family law firms in northern New Jersey.
Savvy is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, and Bergen County Bar
Association. Savvy also served as an Early Settlement Panel member and Matrimonial
Mediation Panel member in Passaic County as well as a Family Part Non-Dissolution (FD)
Mediation Panelist in Bergen County.
Savvy’s greatest passion in life is the practice of law. She has experience with every stage of
the court process including mediation, motion practice, and trials. Savvy has helped many
clients work through their own unique circumstances within their divorce, including disputes as
they pertain to alimony, equitable distribution, custody, parenting time, and child support. Savvy
also has experience with domestic violence restraining orders, dissolutions of civil unions,
termination of domestic partnerships, palimony agreements, college contribution disputes, and
post-judgment modifications of custody, parenting time, child support or alimony.
Savvy proudly serves as the Municipal Prosecutor for the Borough of North Arlington as of
January 2024 after having been the Alternate Municipal Prosecutor since 2018. This position
has caused her to become familiar with prosecuting moving violations, criminal charges, and
DWIs.
Savvy is a true “Jersey Girl” and loves exploring backroads from Sussex County all the way
down to Cape May County. Savvy’s proudest non-legal skill is flying helicopters; which she has
flown in and around New Jersey, Boston, New Smyrna Beach, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia,
Manassas, and New York City.
